Education
Dr. Cherry hails from central Illinois, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Illinois, and then her doctor of dental medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1996.
She then moved to Lexington, Kentucky, where she received her master’s degree in oral biology from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and practiced periodontics for two years at local practices. During this time, she also earned her specialty certificate in periodontics and implant dentistry and served as chief resident.
In 2001, she moved to central Florida, where she ultimately joined our team at Maple Dentistry, bringing her exceptional talent, years of experience and commitment to compassionate patient care.

Personal Life
In her free time, Dr. Cherry enjoys spending time with her family, friends and cats, watching sports, and reading books. She embraces the “crazy cat mom” title and takes pride in spoiling her kitties.
